Accessibility

We want ai26 to be usable by everyone. We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA.

What we do: semantic HTML with clear landmarks and headings, full keyboard operation, a visible focus indicator, sufficient colour contrast, text that stays readable when zoomed, respect for the “reduce motion” setting, and labelled forms.

The map: the interactive canton map is a convenience, not a requirement. Every canton is reachable by keyboard, and on mobile and for screen readers a plain canton dropdown offers the same navigation.
