Manifesto
Switzerland talks about AI. On stages, in studies, at conferences. Only one conversation is missing: the honest one.
There are associations shaping policy. Universities doing research. Events that inspire. But there is no place where Swiss companies openly tell each other what artificial intelligence really means in everyday business – without an audience, without minutes for the press, without vendors in the room.
ai26 is that place. A task force made of companies, not followers. Each company brings the people who truly own AI in the house, not just one. That creates what no study can deliver: first-hand experience.

Questions
Who can become a member?
Any company registered in the Swiss commercial register – from a two-person shop to a corporation. What matters is not size but the willingness to contribute honestly.
How many people per company?
As many as truly own AI at your company. We want the right people at the table, not spectators – while keeping the circles small enough for honest conversations.
What does taking part cost?
Nothing during the founding phase. A later contribution model will be decided by the founding members together – not by us alone.
Is ai26 an association, a federation, a company?
ai26 is being built. The plan is to incorporate as an association under Swiss law – carried by its members, with no commercial stakes held by vendors.
What does ai26 stand for?
AI for artificial intelligence. 26 for the 26 cantons. Together: a task force covering the whole country – not just Zurich and Lake Geneva. The ambition is in the name.
